We Monica and Massimo, partners in life and work, Almada House and escapes from the tray of our dreams and our family memories. The name Almada fact we came to mind when thinking about our Alma and Ada grandmothers, and joining their names we wanted to join in our roots to grow our house on their great welcoming, honesty, of generosity and of deep faith. Since our first meeting, we shared the same desire to travel and discover new places, new people and lifestyles different from our own, but at the same time we are both deeply attached to our beautiful City and, despite his hectic and chaotic beating, We never get tired of admiring eyes with love and live it with the curiosity and wonder of two tourists, the continuous discovery and rediscovery of its most hidden and picturesque corners, which transmit always different suggestions depending on the light and the seasons. What better way, then, to combine the two things and travel the world without leaving Rome, except to open the doors of our house to welcome and accommodate all the people from the four corners of the world dream in their turn to travel to come to visit Italy and our beautiful cities, first of all precisely Rome.

Almada is not a "canonical" Casa per ferie nor a simple Bed & Breakfast. It 'a new and completely refurbished, that combines the best of both types of reception in a familiar atmosphere and a bit 'vintage, to be able to convey to its guests the feeling of being always at home. Almada House offers tourist and religious stays throughout the year to individuals, families, religious, small groups of tourists and / o pellegrini for short or long stays. Immersed in the Valle dei Casali, Quiet and reserved parking, it is far from traffic yet in a convenient position and well served by public transport to reach, in a few minutes, the center of Rome and the Vatican City.

Almada House welcomes its guests in an oasis of peace and serenity in the city center, and it offers a bed and breakfast.
It is located in Via del Casaletto, elegant residential district of Monteverde Nuovo, in a very private and privileged position within the cloistered monastery of the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, in a wing completely it restored a few months ago and made completely independent from the rest of the complex.
All around is surrounded by lush green Valle dei Casali, a protected natural area and quiet where the only sounds are perceived are those of nature. But despite being far from the city noise and chaos of the city, It is actually a short walk from everything that matters: Saint Peter, the old town and lively and picturesque neighborhoods like Testaccio and Trastevere both be reached easily by public transportation services of which the area is well served, or even on foot for those who want to discover the many hidden corners and picturesque views that make this city unique.
Always a few steps walk you can reach the shopping area of Viale dei Colli Portuensi, offering all essential services such as bars, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, newsagents, Banks and post offices.

The House has 10 rooms, very cozy and bright, arranged on two floors with elevator, all with views over the green and equipped with spacious bathrooms, tv a led, internet wifi free, heating and ventilated air.
A large common room in vintage style, very bright and colorful, Also it equipped with a covered outdoor area for smokers, is available to guests for the consumption of a rich self-service Italian breakfast and for relaxing and socializing.
A large parking lot, private and free, can accommodate a large number of cars and if necessary a tourist bus.
Inside the convent of the adjacent complex there is also the church, where guests, if they wish, may attend the Mass, or celebrating the Eucharistic adoration with the sisters, or just stop for a moment of personal prayer.
Rooms
Rooms are 10, for a total of 21/25 beds, arranged on two floors connected by lift and divided as follows:
1 single;
8 double rooms with twin beds and / or double that if necessary are given as single;
1 quadruple with bunk bed ideal for families with children or groups of friends.
They are all cozy, comfortable and very bright, with a simple decor, modern, functional and silent overlooking the green of Valle dei Casali and stunning views of the famous and spectacular Roman sunsets.
Each is equipped with:

A thorough cleaning of the room breakfasts and all the common parts of the house is guaranteed daily.
In the case of short stays, the room cleanliness is normally carried out at arrival and departure of guests, as well as the change of bed linen and towels.
In the case of weekly or longer stays the room cleaning is done twice a week as well as the change of towels, while bed linen is changed once a week ever.
Prices and conventions
Prices of Almada House are per room per night and include Italian breakfast, Internet access and free parking. They can be susceptible to seasonal variations or during major holidays and any special offers. For this reason we invite you to send us a request to which we will respond with the best quotation for your needs.

Almada House is located in the Monte Verde Nuovo neighborhood, Via del Casaletto n. 268, in the green "Valle dei Casali", a protected natural area included among the reserves of the Lazio Region. A short walk from our gate there is the bus stop 870 leading directly to St. Peter's and Castel Sant'Angelo, through Villa Pamphili, the largest public park in Rome, and the Gianicolo lookout with its wonderful overlooking the rooftops and monuments of the capital. Just ahead, at the end of Via del Casaletto, there is the tram terminus 8, the so-called "light rail" that connects in less than 20 minutes of the Monte Verde district directly with Piazza Venezia and all the historical center (Via del Corso, Imperial Forums, Colosseo…), through the lively and characteristic districts of Trastevere and Testaccio. Finally, a 300 meters, Viale dei Colli Portuensi you can take bus. 31 to easily reach the stops of the subway LINE (Valle Aurelia) and line B (Eur Magliana) linking with Termini Station and Ostiense Station, as well as other tourist attractions.
